Photographing a piece of art is a valuable tool in order to promote it for sale, share designs, or interact with others. Its the final stage of the art process, the communication stage. In todays class, Ill show ways to use flowers and their petals as props with the sole purpose of complementing a piece of art. Ill use various flowers, from sunflowers to mums, to hydrangeas, to some I cant recognize. Ill explain why I chose them, how I alter them, to use them effectively, and ways to create a composition where the props dont compete with the artwork.
