Welcome to Pure Flexibility Poses! In this video I share with you some ways to use these classes to build your pose library and express and explore your flexibility!

2 VISVAMITRASANA

This pose requires a good amount of flexibility, some strength, and a lot of patience!

3 WHEEL

Also called Urdhva Dhanurasana, this pose strengthens the arms, shoulders, quads and back body.

4 FIREFLY

Known as Titibhasana, this pose is one of the most demanding poses, but also one of the most rewarding. It not only brings focus to your mind, but also builds strength and ...

5 DANCER

Called Natarajasana, this pose requires balance, strength and flexibility. Learning it will help build coordination and stability in the ankle joint.

6 FULL SPLIT

Also known as Hanumanasana, this pose requires a lot of hamstring flexibility on the front leg, and just as much flexibility on the psoas muscle of the back leg.

7 LOTUS

Padmasana in Sanskrit, Lotus helps with posture and promotes ankle, hip and knee health and mobility.

8 KING PIGEON

Known in Sanskrit as Eka Pada Rajakapotasana, this pose opens the hips and releases tension in the lumbar spine.

9 BIRD OF PARADISE

Known as Svarga Dvidasana, this beautiful pose strengthens the standing leg, hip and ankle.
