RAM Elements CE V16 Update 5 (16.05.00.213) Release Notes - Updated: October 2021
Features:
New update design for steel and wood selected members.
Now changes in design parameters disable the design only for the elements involved. This new tool allows to update the design for the selected or all members with a Not Designed status.

New selection tools for members according to design status. The new options are enabled when viewing design status per color after a design is performed.

Update the RAM SBeam export using the latest released version. The UI and the workflow remains the same.

All documentation for RAM Elements was migrated to Bentley WebHelp which includes manuals, help context and htmls.
Resolved Issues:
- Concrete Beam Module fixed load diagrams when beams where selected out of order relative to the local axis 1.
- Footing Module separation between columns not updated properly when the footing was already created. This is fixed now and the separation between columns is now a model parameter and it is updated continuously.
- Save as Zip error when saving new models to zip without previously saving the model. Now a message is prompted that the model needs to be previously saved before saving to zip.
- Center of mass calculation not considering shell pressures in all directions. This is fixed now and the center of mass is calculated properly considering all shell pressures.
- Grades and species not shown for wood materials when editing the material. This is fixed now and all parameters are shown properly while editing.

The program includes special modules for designing spread footings, combined footings, reinforced concrete columns, retaining walls, concrete walls, tilt-up walls, masonry walls, continuous beams and trusses. Additionally, RAM Elements has links with RAM Connection, a revolutionary tool that allows the fast design of steel connections inside or outside RAM Elements, STAAD.Pro, the RAM Structural System and ProSteel (SDNF).
