Negotiating your salary in an asset management role can be hard. As a trader, analyst, PM, or others. Especially when your tasks are not just limited to earning returns, but include other areas (IR, contributing to company models and processes, and others).
Just because a fund may be earning returns for investors, that doesn't mean that negotiating a raise is easy.
But there are things that can be done to improve your chances.
