Jesse Lupton a bear shifter and member of the core team that works at the Ravenstone Realm Renaissance faire, swears that he will be alone for the rest of his life. But when a strange and ancient book of sketches is found, he cannot shake the image of one woman he's never met except for her image on the brittle pages and in his most erotic dreams. He seeks after her, this mysterious woman, who has been prophesied to help keep the Void from destroying all life as they know it.

The day Brynn enters the gates of the faire is the day both their lives take a turn. She realizes that this could be the place that she will finally find her true self and heal the sadness in her heart, where he sees that she is the only hope to save the world and eventually save himself.
