Title: JAO True OEM Quality Joystick Analog Stick Replacement (2-Pack) Compatible with Xbox One, X, S, Elite, PS4, Switch Pro Controllers w/ 10k pots (not for 360 or PS3) High Precision Accurate
Author: N/A
Year: N/A

Description:
Compatible with most Xbox One, X, S, Elite, Switch Pro and PS4 controllers that use 10k ohm pots. Some PS4 controllers use 2K pots. Please measure your original controller pots with a meter (measure between two outer pins) to ensure your joysticks use 10K pots. WILL NOT WORK in Xbox 360, PS3, JoyCon controllers. Also compatible with many other aftermarket game controllers, but please inspect photos and datasheet dimensions carefully.
If you only have some mild joystick drift, try cleaning your potentiometers and metal contact rings or buying some cheap replacement units and just swap the metal contact rings (plenty of videos for this). Sometimes your joystick is mechanically worn out or the carbon is worn out on the pots and you must replace either the pot sensors or the entire assembly. I have been replacing joysticks on console controllers for over a decade and almost all offerings you find claiming to be quality replacements are junk. ALPS branded joysticks are usually mechanically well made, but still typically come with very poor quality sensor pots since these are separate components. The most common issue with the pots is that they hit min and max readings way before max stick travel. This makes them feel completely useless in games (100% or nothing). Other pots will vary over the entire travel, but never hit 0 or 10k ohm making their resolution in games poor. These are the only joysticks replacements I have found that are truly OEM quality. I test every item for 5% or better tolerance at minimum, center and maximum travel. You should never buy an electronic component without a solid datasheet. Replacing the entire joystick takes non-trivial soldering skill. I advise you practice on junk PCBs if you can find some and get decent quality tools for desoldering (plenty of instructional videos out there). You will sometimes need to perform a quick calibration in your console or on PC just to set the center deadzone and limits.
