We will start with an easy and straightforward technique for sketching the female figure. I will also teach you how to sketch a female figure pose based on a reference photo. I will share an easy method for mixing watercolors to get natural hair and skin tones, as well as demonstrating how to paint a dress with a pattern. I will show you a way to add shading to both the figure skin and the garment without making your painting look dull (spoiler alert: no black color is used to add shadow!).
