THE SOUND OF THE ALPS. The Zither has a rough and dirty sound, often described as "mellow". We handled the Concert Zither harshly: We plucked, stroked and strummed all the strings to get every possible sound, noise and articulation the Zither can produce. Finally, we assembled six different patches. The Concert Zither is a perfect supplement to all the other Cinematique Strings instruments: rare and unique.

A BEAUTIFUL BUNCH OF NYLON STRINGS. The 'Ukulele Trio' consists of a soprano, a tenor and a baritone ukulele. Our primary focus was to create a ukulele instrument with a natural and organic feel which is easy and quick to use in music production. So, we skipped complex articulations, such as advanced solo playing abilities.

SHINY METAL STRINGS. The Lap Harp comes along with 3 Articulations, 4 Round Robins and 2 velocities at a low volume. As an additional gimmick, we implemented a Glissando and a Tremolo function via the script, which affects the midi behavior and enables you to get a step closer to the natural playability of the actual instrument. The Lap Harp enriches your music with a lovely organic feel whether you use it as a solo or just as a background instrument.

BLUEGRASS. We used a 5-String Banjo with a 33 cm diameter mahogany body. We played and recorded the Banjo in many ways to get the typical banjo sound - each in several velocity layers and 2 Round Robin variations. As a result, we came out with a very realistic and organic Banjo.

In the contest of our previous released string instruments, we have again focused on creating an instrument with a soft and warm sound that will have an organic and realistic feel. It features a "Tremolo-Option ", and this tremolo is controlled over the Mod Wheel. It can create a tragic, dramatic, and highly natural tremolo sound, perfectly fitting in various music styles and genres.
