E-BooksDynamical Systems and Differential Geometry via MAPLE

Dynamical Systems and Differential Geometry via MAPLE
Free Download Dynamical Systems and Differential Geometry via MAPLE
English | 2021 | ISBN: 1527572234 | 255 Pages | PDF (True) | 2 MB
The area of dynamical systems and differential geometry via MAPLE is a field which has become exceedingly technical in recent years. In the field, everything is structured for the benefit of optimizing evolutionary geometric aspects that describe significant physical or engineering phenomena. This book is structured in terms of the importance, accessibility and impact of theoretical notions capable of shaping a future mathematician-computer scientist possessing knowledge of evolutionary dynamical systems. It provides a self-contained and accessible introduction for graduate and advanced undergraduate students in mathematics, engineering, physics, and economic sciences. This book is suitable for both self-study for students and professors with a background in differential geometry and for teaching a semester-long introductory graduate course in dynamical systems and differential geometry via MAPLE.

E-BooksDifferential Geometry For Physicists

Differential Geometry For Physicists
Free Download Differential Geometry For Physicists By Bo-Yu Hou, Bo-Yuan Hou
1997 | 560 Pages | ISBN: 9810231059 | PDF | 35 MB
This book is divided into fourteen chapters, with 18 appendices as introduction to prerequisite topological and algebraic knowledge, etc. The first seven chapters focus on local analysis. This part can be used as a fundamental textbook for graduate students of theoretical physics. Chapters 8-10 discuss geometry on fibre bundles, which facilitates further reference for researchers. The last four chapters deal with the Atiyah-Singer index theorem, its generalization and its application, quantum anomaly, cohomology field theory and noncommutative geometry, giving the reader a glimpse of the frontier of current research in theoretical physics.

E-BooksBirkhoff–James Orthogonality and Geometry of Operator Spaces

Birkhoff–James Orthogonality and Geometry of Operator Spaces
Free Download Birkhoff-James Orthogonality and Geometry of Operator Spaces
English | 2024 | ISBN: 9819971101 | 265 Pages | PDF EPUB (True) | 32 MB
This book provides an insight into the geometric aspects of the spaces of operators studied by using the notion of Birkhoff-James orthogonality. It studies the norm attainment set of an operator and its properties, the notion of which plays a very important role in the characterization of B-J orthogonality of operators. The structure of the norm attainment set is studied for Hilbert space operators and is yet to be understood completely for operators between Banach spaces. The book explores the interrelation between B-J orthogonality in the ground space and in the space of operators in its fullest generality. The book further explores the concept of approximate B-J orthogonality and investigated its geometry both in the ground space as well as in the space of operators. It highlights important geometric properties like smoothness and k-smoothness of bounded linear operators, extreme contractions and symmetricity of bounded linear operators defined between Hilbert spaces as well as Banach spaces.

Free Download Robert S. Doran, "Superstrings, Geometry, Topology, and C*-algebras "
English | ISBN: 0821848879 | 2010 | 249 pages | PDF | 5 MB
The principal lecturer at the regional conference was Jonathan Rosenberg (U. of Maryland), but his lectures are published elsewhere, though he does provide a technical introduction explaining how the other 11 papers are linked. Among the topics are the functoriality of Rieffel's generalized fixed-point algebras for proper actions, division algebras and supersymmetry, Riemann-Roch and index formulae in twisted K-theory, noncommutative Yang-Mills theory for quantum Heisenberg manifolds, distances between matrix algebras that converge to coadjoint orbits, and geometric and topological structures related to M-branes. E-BooksNoncommutative Geometry and Physics Renormalisation, Motives, Index Theory

Noncommutative Geometry and Physics Renormalisation, Motives, Index Theory
Free Download Alan Carey, "Noncommutative Geometry and Physics: Renormalisation, Motives, Index Theory "
English | ISBN: 3037190086 | 2011 | 280 pages | PDF | 1455 KB
This collection of expository articles grew out of the workshop "Number Theory and Physics" held in March 2009 at The Erwin Schrödinger International Institute for Mathematical Physics, Vienna. The common theme of the articles is the influence of ideas from noncommutative geometry (NCG) on subjects ranging from number theory to Lie algebras, index theory, and mathematical physics. Matilde Marcolli's article gives a survey of relevant aspects of NCG in number theory, building on an introduction to motives for beginners by Jorge Plazas and Sujatha Ramdorai. A mildly unconventional view of index theory, from the viewpoint of NCG, is described in the article by Alan Carey, John Phillips, and Adam Rennie. As developed by Alain Connes and Dirk Kreimer, NCG also provides insight into novel algebraic structures underlying many analytic aspects of quantum field theory. Dominique Manchon's article on pre-Lie algebras fits into this developing research area. This interplay of algebraic and analytic techniques also appears in the articles by Christoph Bergbauer, who introduces renormalization theory and Feynman diagram methods, and Sylvie Paycha, who focuses on relations between renormalization and zeta function techniques. A publication of the European Mathematical Society (EMS). Distributed within the Americas by the American Mathematical Society.
