Crypto-currencies have been portrayed as an instrument making possible illegal activity, as they advance a setting for individuals to create, transfer, launder and steal unlawful funds with anonymity. Terrorism produces governments to be more vigilant with private financial transactions to avert funding of terrorist activities from abroad. Financial crimes contribute to terrorist financing.
