E-BooksOptimal Control Theory

Optimal Control Theory
Free Download Optimal Control Theory by Leonard D. Berkovitz
English | PDF | 1974 | 315 Pages | ISBN : 038790106X | 17.8 MB
This book is an introduction to the mathematical theory of optimal control of processes governed by ordinary differential eq- tions. It is intended for students and professionals in mathematics and in areas of application who want a broad, yet relatively deep, concise and coherent introduction to the subject and to its relati- ship with applications. In order to accommodate a range of mathema- cal interests and backgrounds among readers, the material is arranged so that the more advanced mathematical sections can be omitted wi- out loss of continuity. For readers primarily interested in appli- tions a recommended minimum course consists of Chapter I, the sections of Chapters II, III, and IV so recommended in the introductory sec tions of those chapters, and all of Chapter V. The introductory sec tion of each chapter should further guide the individual reader toward material that is of interest to him. A reader who has had a good course in advanced calculus should be able to understand the defini tions and statements of the theorems and should be able to follow a substantial portion of the mathematical development. The entire book can be read by someone familiar with the basic aspects of Lebesque integration and functional analysis. For the reader who wishes to find out more about applications we recommend references [2], [13], [33], [35], and [50], of the Bibliography at the end of the book.

E-BooksMultiagent Systems for Manufacturing Control A Design Methodology

Multiagent Systems for Manufacturing Control A Design Methodology
Free Download Multiagent Systems for Manufacturing Control: A Design Methodology by Stefan Bussmann , Nicholas R. Jennings , Michael Wooldridge
English | PDF | 2004 | 298 Pages | ISBN : 3540209247 | 28 MB
The ability of production companies to rapidly develop and deploy effective and efficient control systems is critical for success in the consumer-driven environment of contemporary manufacturing. This book presents a novel approach to the design of manufacturing control systems, based around the idea of agents, semiautonomous decision makers that cooperate to process goods and meet orders. This new methodology is DACS - Designing Agent-based Control Systems.

Model Predictive Control System Design and Implementation Using MATLAB® (2024)
Free Download Model Predictive Control System Design and Implementation Using MATLAB® by Liuping Wang
English | PDF | 2009 | 398 Pages | ISBN : 1848823304 | 6.5 MB
Model Predictive Control System Design and Implementation Using MATLAB® proposes methods for design and implementation of MPC systems using basis functions that confer the following advantages: - continuous- and discrete-time MPC problems solved in similar design frameworks; - a parsimonious parametric representation of the control trajectory gives rise to computationally efficient algorithms and better on-line performance; and - a more general discrete-time representation of MPC design that becomes identical to the traditional approach for an appropriate choice of parameters.

Mathematical Programming and Control Theory
Free Download Mathematical Programming and Control Theory by B. D. Craven
English | PDF | 1978 | 173 Pages | ISBN : 0412155001 | 32.9 MB
In a mathematical programming problem, an optimum (maxi mum or minimum) of a function is sought, subject to con straints on the values of the variables. In the quarter century since G. B. Dantzig introduced the simplex method for linear programming, many real-world problems have been modelled in mathematical programming terms. Such problems often arise in economic planning - such as scheduling industrial production or transportation - but various other problems, such as the optimal control of an interplanetary rocket, are of similar kind. Often the problems involve nonlinear func tions, and so need methods more general than linear pro gramming. This book presents a unified theory of nonlinear mathe matical programming. The same methods and concepts apply equally to 'nonlinear programming' problems with a finite number of variables, and to 'optimal control' problems with e. g. a continuous curve (i. e. infinitely many variables). The underlying ideas of vector space, convex cone, and separating hyperplane are the same, whether the dimension is finite or infinite; and infinite dimension makes very little difference to the proofs. Duality theory - the various nonlinear generaliz ations of the well-known duality theorem of linear program ming - is found relevant also to optimal control, and the , PREFACE Pontryagin theory for optimal control also illuminates finite dimensional problems. The theory is simplified, and its applicability extended, by using the geometric concept of convex cones, in place of coordinate inequalities.

Independent Metering Electro–Hydraulic Control System
Free Download Independent Metering Electro-Hydraulic Control System by Ruqi Ding , Min Cheng
English | PDF EPUB (True) | 2024 | 159 Pages | ISBN : 9819963710 | 63 MB
This book shows an independent metering electro-hydraulic control system involving its flexible hardware layouts, complex software control, representative products and applications. The book includes one chapter introducing the background and motivation of the independent metering electro-hydraulic control system. It also includes one chapter to summarize various hardware layouts involving the utilized hydraulic components and circuits, as well as analyze their advantages and disadvantages. It emphatically consists of four chapters demonstrating the detailed multivariable control strategies from three levels: load, valve and pump, together with fault-tolerant control under the fault condition. It includes a last chapter, in which products of independent metering control valve and their applications in some typical heavy-duty mobile machinery are collective works of reviews illustrative of recent advances. This book is interesting and useful to a wide readership in the various fields of fluid power transmission and control.
