Grete Henry–Hermann Sittlichkeit und Vernunft
Free Download Grete Henry-Hermann: Sittlichkeit und Vernunft: Kritik der Ethik Nelsons und Erinnerungen an Leonard Nelson
Deutsch | 2023 | ISBN: 365841992X | 226 Seiten | PDF (True) | 2.4 MB

E-BooksSiddharthaby Hermann Hesse

Siddharthaby Hermann Hesse
Siddhartha by Hermann Hesse
English | MP3@192 kbps | 4h 09m | 342.4 MB
Do you want to listen to Siddhartha? If so then keep reading...The title of this novel is a combination of two Sanskrit words, "siddha," which is defined as "achieved," and "artha" which is defined as "meaning" or "wealth." The word serves as the name for the principal character, a man on a spiritual journey of self-discovery during the time of the first Buddha. Siddhartha is the son of a wealthy Brahmin family who decides to leave his home in the hopes of gaining spiritual illumination. Siddhartha is joined by his best friend Govinda. The two renounce their earthly possessions, engage in ritual fasting and intense meditation and ultimately seek out and speak with Gautama, the original Buddha. Here the two go their separate ways, Govinda joining the order of the Buddha, Siddhartha traveling on in search of spiritual enlightenment. In order to complete this novel Hesse immersed himself in the sacred teachings of both Hindu and Buddhist scriptures and lived a semi-reclusive life in order to achieve his own spiritual enlightenment. Considered one of Hesse's most important works, "Siddhartha" remains to this day as one of his most popular. It is a work that deals with the quest that we all undertake in some way or another, to define our lives in an environment of conflicting dualities and ultimately find spiritual awareness. What are you waiting for Siddhartha is one click away, select the "Download" button in the top right corner NOW!

Hermann Cohen Writings on Neo-Kantianism and Jewish Philosophy
Samuel Moyn, "Hermann Cohen: Writings on Neo-Kantianism and Jewish Philosophy "
English | ISBN: 1684580439 | 2021 | 275 pages | PDF | 2 MB
Hermann Cohen (1842-1918) was among the most accomplished Jewish philosophers of modern times-if not the single most significant. But his work has not yet received the attention it deserves. This newly translated collection of his writings-most of which are appearing in English for the first time-illuminates his achievements for student readers and rectifies lapses in his intellectual reception by prior generations. It presents chapters from Cohen's Ethics of Pure Will, conflicting interpretations of Cohen by Franz Rosenzweig and Alexander Altmann, and finally the eulogy to Cohen delivered at graveside by Ernst Cassirer. Containing full annotations and selections that concentrate both on the philosophical core of Cohen's writings and the politics of interpretation of his work at the time of his death and after, Hermann Cohen truly brings to light all of Cohen's accomplishments.
